University dormitory accommodation
In addition to these centrally located hotels, there are also accommodation options in the surrounding areas, offering both luxury and budget-friendly stays.
Whether you prefer a four-star experience, a cozy guesthouse, or a budget-friendly hostel, Timișoara has accommodation options to suit every need.
On the other hand, the West University of Timisoara offers accommodation in a modern building (available upon request).
For students and early-career attendees, we offer affordable accommodation in a modern university dormitory (a limited number of 30 dormitory-style rooms are available and can be allocated to congress attendees at a preferential rate of 70 euro/7 days).
These rooms are offered as part of our commitment to inclusivity and accessibility and will be allocated based on the following priority criteria:
- Participants coming from countries with lower economic resources (commonly referred to as low- and lower-middle-income countries, according to international classifications);
- Students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level);
- Participants attending as part of a group;
- Willingness to share accommodation, as each room has three beds, with priority given to requests that ensure full occupancy of the room;
- Early registration and confirmed participation in the congress.
The dormitory accommodation is intended to support participation from early-career researchers and delegates for whom standard hotel accommodation may represent a financial barrier.
