FEPSAC 2026 Young Researcher Award (YRA)
We are pleased to announce the launch of the FEPSAC 2026 Young Researcher Award (YRA).
FEPSAC invites early-career researchers in sport and exercise psychology to submit their scientific or evidence-based work for consideration. Awards will be presented in two categories:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation
For the oral presentations, 6 applicants will be short-listed and candidates applying for poster presentation will be joined by those who were not short-listed for oral presentation. Candidates to the YRA must not apply to present the same communication in the general program.
Eligibility and Application Process
This award is open to individuals who meet the following criteria:
- Must be currently a student or graduated up until December 2025
- Must be currently a FEPSAC member
- Must follow guidelines for abstract submission
The abstract must follow the same formatting and content requirements for both oral and poster submissions, remaining identical in both cases. Word limit for Abstracts is 250 words. APA format, including citations, but without list of references is REQUIRED for all abstracts.

Proof of student status
Proof of FEPSAC membership

Awards and Prizes
The FEPSAC Young Researcher Award is sponsored by ELSEVIER which publishes FEPSAC’s official journal Psychology of Sport and Exercise and will be presented to outstanding contributions in sport and exercise psychology.
